Miguel was previously chief executive officer of Tracy Reese and also formerly held positions as president of Zac Posen and the Marc Jacobs men’s business.
He succeeds Topher Gaylord, who exited as president of the denim and contemporary sportswear label in March 2010 to become president of Columbia Sportswear Co.’s Mountain Hardwear subsidiary.
Over the past year, Seven For All Mankind has been overseen directly by Kellogg, whose purview also includes John Varvatos, Ella Moss and Splendid.
“Barry is a seasoned leader and strategist in growing high-profile contemporary brands,” said Kellogg. “He brings a broad base of skills and will be a tremendous asset to the Seven For All Mankind brand as we enter our next stage of growth.”
Last month, Seven For All Mankind opened its first retail store in Canada in the Chinook Centre in Calgary, bringing its worldwide store count to 120 units. The company plans to open 10 to 15 stores in Canada over the next five years.
Miguel, based in New York, will relocate with his family to Los Angeles for his new post.
