MILAN — Designer Aldo Maria Camillo is leaving his post as artistic director of Cerruti, according to Italian media reports. Representatives at the Cerruti offices in Paris did not respond to calls on Monday evening, a bank holiday in France.
Camillo joined Cerruti in 2012 from the men’s wear studio of Valentino, where he was head men’s wear designer. His résumé also includes a three-year stint at Ermenegildo Zegna as senior designer of formalwear and tailoring.
Cerruti in December 2010 was purchased by Chinese men’s wear giant Trinity Ltd., a division of Li & Fung.
