CALVIN’S NEW HIRES: Calvin Klein Collection is beefing up its executive ranks. The brand has tapped Simona Zerchi as senior vice president of global sales and Stephanie Reiner as senior vice president of merchandising. Both report to Michelle Kessler-Sanders, president of Calvin Klein Collection, a division of Calvin Klein Inc., and are new posts.

Zerchi, who begins Feb. 29, will work with Kessler-Sanders on overall strategic vision for the positioning of Collection merchandise within the brand’s wholesale channels of distribution, as well as growing each category of business within their respective retail channels. Reiner, who began Feb. 1, is responsible for leading the brand’s seasonal merchandising plans for women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and accessories, as well as creating a synergy across all product categories.
Most recently, Zerchi was vice president of wholesale at Gucci, Inc., and Reiner was senior vice president, product development, merchandising and production for Donna Karan New York women’s Collection for over 10 years. Earlier she was with Calvin Klein, an owned subsidiary of PVH Corp.
