PARIS – Chanel can’t seem to get enough of Saint Tropez.
Following last month’s showing of its cruise collection on the Riviera town’s picturesque harbor, Chanel next week is slated to open a temporary store in an 18th century house.
With some 1,300 square feet of selling space and an ephemeral decor, the unit will showcase luxury ready-to-wear and accessories from the luxury pre-fall “métiers d’art” collection Karl Lagerfeld showed last December in Shanghai, as well as Chanel’s coveted J12 watch range.
