Christian Dior Couture has named Jens Riewenherm chief digital officer, effective today.
With extensive expertise in e-commerce and client experience, Riewenherm will be charged with accelerating Dior’s omnichannel digital development.
Most recently, Riewenherm was managing director of Mytheresa.com, the German luxury multibrand web site owned by Neiman Marcus Group, a post he exited at the end of October. Before that, he was managing director of Value Retail plc, a European leader in shopping center management. He began his career in Munich at Payback, a multichannel platform, where he held successive positions before being named head of brand management.
Pietro Beccari, president and chief executive officer of Christian Dior Couture, said about Riewenherm’s appointment: “I am convinced that his talent and experience will strengthen the digital strategy and growth of the Dior omnichannel environment. This represents a vital new dynamic in writing the future of the house, in which a completely seamless online experience aligns with our freestanding boutiques.”
