The Domenico Vacca lifestyle is coming to Manhattan in a big way.

This September the Italian designer will open a multipronged development that includes an 8,000-square-foot flagship store, a café, barber shop, beauty salon, members-only club and private residences at 55th Street and Fifth Avenue.

“I have always wanted to express my creativity and sense of style in other lifestyle concepts,” said Domenico Vacca. “This building is a mecca of extravagance and comfort, each aspect and detail a labor of love. For the new retail space I wanted to create a place that is not just a storefront but a destination that draws people in to connect, shop and relax, reviving the in-store shopping experience.”

The two-story retail space will carry Domenico Vacca men’s and women’s accessories and apparel and sit on the ground level along with the DV Café, which will be modeled after an Italian café and bar. The DV Barber Shop will be located on the second floor across from the DV Hair Salon, which will offer women’s haircuts, color services and blowouts.

The second floor will also feature the DV Club, an exclusive private club that members must pay an annual fee to join. The club will include lounge areas, a private entrance and a rooftop with city views. Private residential units will be on the upper floors. The 30 luxury residences will be furnished and decorated by Vacca.

Vacca currently has one store in New York City and additional locations in Beverly Hills, Miami, Mayakoba in Mexico, Doha and Milan.
