Emilio Pucci store in Capri

Emilio Pucci is back in Capri.

Sixty-five years after the brand’s founder established his first store on the island, La Canzone del Mare, which closed in the Eighties, the luxury label has opened a boutique on the iconic shopping street Via Camerelle.

The space pays tribute to the brand’s link with Capri featuring walls covered with black-and-white archival images, shot on the island, portraying models sporting Pucci’s creations.

The boutique, whose concept is specifically designed for the location, is conceived as a neutral canvas to emphasize the colors and prints typical of the brand. The ready-to-wear pieces are presented on black lacquered metal displays, while accessories are shown on glass shelves. A wood-and-glass dresser with Emilio Pucci signature silk scarves dominates the space.

To celebrate the opening of the store, Emilio Pucci creative director Massimo Giorgetti designed an exclusive capsule of accessories and beachwear, from bags and t-shirts to swimsuits and kaftans, all decorated with an archival print from 1954 featuring a sketched image of Capri’s legendary Piazzetta.
