The Giorgio Armani brand will skip the men’s runway in January and will instead hold its first coed runway show during women’s Milan Fashion Week in February.
Instead, the designer’s Emporio Armani brand is returning to Milan Men’s Fashion Week in January and will hold a women’s show in Milan the following month. Last September, Emporio held a coed show at Linate Airport during women’s Milan Fashion Week.
In addition, Armani will take part in the calendar of the upcoming Milan Men’s Fashion Week with a still undisclosed exhibition at the Armani/Silos space.
Other Milan-based brands that have opted for a coed runway show in February include Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Missoni and Salvatore Ferragamo, while Dsquared2 will continue to show its men’s and women’s collections together in January.
