BERLIN — Ingo Wilts is coming back to Hugo Boss.

After a five year hiatus stateside, the former creative director of the Boss Black, Boss Selection and Boss Green divisions has been named senior vice-president of Boss Menswear, effective July 1, 2014. In this newly created position, Wilts will oversee all of Boss’s men’s wear ranges.

Wilts will report to Boss chief brand officer Christoph Auhagen. Current Boss brand manager Kevin Lobo and Boss Sportswear/Boss Orange and Boss Green brand manager Bernd Keller will, in turn, report to Wilts.

Wilts was most recently creative director of men’s wear at Tommy Hilfiger in Amsterdam, and prior to that was creative director at Elie Tahari. Wilts left Boss in 2009, joining Kenneth Cole in New York as senior vice president and creative director.
