This is a new initiative that will see Jil Sander partnering with artists and photographers on several exclusive projects.
For the Interpretation Project’s debut, the label’s creative directors have selected 10 images, capturing the spirit of the brand’s spring collection, shot by Sorrenti at Serra de Tramuntana, a mountain range on the Spanish island of Mallorca, which in 2011 received the World Heritage Status by UNESCO.
The images were printed on unisex white cotton T-shirts make their debut at Colette in Paris today. The capsule collection will hit Dover Street Market units in London, New York and Singapore on Dec. 7 and will be available online at ssense.com from Dec. 17. In addition, the T-shirts will be on sale at jilsander.com and at selected boutiques of the brand from Jan. 8.
Each T-shirt, which will come with a dedicated box, will retail for 390 euros.
