While resort is just beginning, fur season is getting into full swing. At a presentation on Monday, Michael Kors showed a collection full of capes and tunics done in nearly weightless furs — in particular a suntan pullover with a cashmere back and a long lavender wrap, both in unlined, knitted fox. While some pieces were more structured, they never looked cumbersome. Highlights included a basic Barguzin sable beauty; a suede-backed, white mink cape and the amusing mixes of goat and mink for slender short coats. None the less luxurious, this collection skewed younger and sportier than ever.
