LONDON — Veteran British retailer David Riddiford has been named chief executive of Links of London globally, and will take up a similar title at Folli Follie, Links’ sister company, for the U.K. market.
Riddiford will succeed Andrew Marshall, who stepped down earlier this year. Riddiford’s previous roles include president of Lane Crawford; buying director at Selfridges, and deputy managing director at the British jeweler formerly known as Asprey & Garrard.
Most recently, he has been managing the lingerie brand La Senza on an interim basis. He is also a non-executive director at Change Retail and Peopletree.
A statement from the Greek retailer Folli Follie Group said Riddiford will be developing the Links of London brand internationally and the Folli Follie brand in the U.K.
