Molly Epstein has joined Ernest Alexander as president, a new position with the men’s wear label. She will report to founder and creative director Ernest Sabine.
Epstein was most recently divisional vice president of e-commerce for North America at Coach. She joined Coach in 2009 and held a number of positions including overseeing the women’s merchandising team and heading up the brand’s e-commerce business and launching its e-factory business.
Before joining Coach, she spent five years with J. Crew, where she was the lead merchant for men’s and women’s accessories, and worked with the founding team for the Crewcuts brand. She also worked on the men’s direct business.
Epstein started her career at Gap, Inc. and also worked for Banana Republic.
Ernest Alexander was founded five years ago as a men’s accessories firm and has since branched out into apparel. It was named Best New Menswear Designer by GQ in 2013, and joined the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2014.
