Nashville Fashion Alliance said Monday it has exceeded its Kickstarter goal of $100,000 and is officially funded with 666 founders. The campaign provides necessary seed funding to support NFA’s mission of building an infrastructure through advocacy, economic development, shared resources and education.

Through a partnership with Catholic Charities of Tennessee, the NFA will provide assistance with the establishment of a sewing training academy and provide access to a needed skilled workforce.

In the future, the NFA hopes to provide a physical location in Nashville where start-up fashion and emerging brands can connect with other people in their community, learn from mentors and access resources.
