MILAN — Echoing an emphasis on heritage in the runway collections, accessories makers also went back to their roots for fall. Vintage-looking calf leather headlined the news in bags — most of them in large, soft and deconstructed shapes. In footwear, classic, rounder shapes with an outdoorsy look prevailed, in a range of forest shades. And designers put their foot down with a plethora of riding boots, biker boots and trekking boots.
