LONDON — The British Fashion Council has unveiled the provisional schedule for its inaugural showcase in June — London Collections: Men.
Designers showing as part of the spring 2013 shows in London, which run from June 15 to 17, include Dunhill, Pringle of Scotland, E. Tautz, Jonathan Saunders, Timothy Everest, Hardy Amies, Richard James and James Long.
Some designers — including Thom Browne and Belstaff — will also hold preview presentations during the London schedule, ahead of showing their full collections in different cities.
Meanwhile Tommy Hilfiger will host a men’s presentation, as will Liberty London, Christopher Kane, Richard Nicoll and Joseph Abboud.
Accessories will also be on the agenda. Stephen Webster will hold a jewelry presentation, while Burberry will host a Burberry Timepieces presentation. Tailor Timothy Everest and streetcar label Superdry are to unveil a collaboration during the week.
In terms of events, Tom Ford will hold a dinner June 15, while Esquire and Mr. Porter will also host an event that night.
The following evening Louis Vuitton will host a cocktail, while on June 17 Christopher Bailey will host a Burberry event, and Calvin Klein Collection will host a GQ dinner later that night.
As reported, an event hosted by Prince Charles at St. James’s Palace will open the collections on June 14, followed by a Topman opening reception the same evening.
