The revamped retail space will be opened in phases through December and will comprise an area of 173,000 square feet once completed. It will include T Galleria’s first dedicated shoe salon, featuring more than 50 footwear brands including exclusive-to-Macau labels like Aquazzura and Rupert Sanderson.
DFS, part of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, said it is out to create a “luxurious, contemporary and inviting atmosphere” combining design elements such as glass, marble, steel and warm wood accents.
The fashion areas of the store will feature brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Prada, Miu Miu and Fendi. Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin will round out the jewelry and watch offerings.
DFS said the space will also feature a multibranded, men’s lifestyle area that mixes ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, watches and grooming all in one space.
Beauty also figures prominently. DFS said the 23,000 square feet of space will be the largest beauty hall in southern China, selling some 70 brands including Korean brands Sulwhasoo, Laneige and Hera.
Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. operates the City of Dreams complex as well as many other entertainment casino resort facilities.
In March, DFS opened a T Galleria store in Siem Reap, Cambodia near Angkor Wat.
