Versace has launched its largest boutique in the Middle East.
The 6,480-square-foot store in Dubai Mall, which opened earlier this month, is modeled after the most recent worldwide Versace concept. There is the juxtaposition of black granite floors, white leather paneled walls and matte white ceilings.
Cabinetry and fixtures are accented with polished stainless steel, glass, and white and black lacquer details. A crystal curtain drop chandelier is strategically placed at the heart of the store, which carries the brand’s ready-to-wear collections and accessories for men and women, including bags, shoes, belts, eyewear, watches and jewelry, in addition to Versace’s Home collection.
The unit is the second Versace boutique in Dubai. Others in the Middle East are in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, and Al Khobar and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, as well as Kuwait City, Kuwait; Bahrain, and Doha, Qatar.
At Dubai Mall, Versace also opened a boutique dedicated to its fine jewelry and watches. The 2,160-square-foot store is part of the brand’s global retail strategy to open more Versace fine jewelry boutiques. An exclusive Versace Vintage Jewelry collection is available in Dubai.
Versace watches are produced and distributed by the Switzerland-based Vertime, which is part of the Timex Group.
Versace’s first store dedicated to jewelry and watches opened in Rome in December 2007. The Dubai store is modeled after the Rome unit, with walls padded with soft white leather panels and displays lined in silk for a jewel-box concept.
