John Douglas has been named chief technology officer at Tory Burch LLC, a new post.

Most recently, he was chief information officer with MCM Fashion Group, and before that was chief technology officer at Burberry.
At Burch, he will lead the company’s global technology and IT function. He will be based at New York headquarters.

While at Burberry, Douglas was instrumental in driving the brand’s innovative digital initiatives and directed multiple global SAP transformations. He led implementation of the digital “Burberry World,” by integrating consumer experiences across all access channels, including mobile and table devices, retail locations, products and services.
