PARIS — Karl Lagerfeld continued his winning streak this season with a stunning Chanel spring couture collection, which blended embellishment with restraint and relied largely on a black-and-white palette. And the dualities didn’t end there: beautifully ornamented blouses were shown over straight, simple skirts, or a frothy jacket over a strict black evening column.
