PARIS — Designer Aldo Maria Camillo has left his post as artistic director of Cerruti 1881 to “pursue other personal interests,” the house said. It did not provide any additional details.
Camillo joined Cerruti in 2012 from the men’s wear studio of Valentino, where he was head men’s wear designer. His résumé also includes a three-year stint at Ermenegildo Zegna as senior designer of formalwear and tailoring.
Cerruti in December 2010 was purchased by Chinese men’s wear giant Trinity Ltd., a division of Li & Fung.
