BLUEFLY NAMES ELLIN SALTZMAN TO ITS BOARD
NEW YORK — Ellin Saltzman, a former senior executive and fashion director at Saks Fifth Avenue, has joined the board of directors at Bluefly, the online off-price retailer. Bluefly also said Friday that Mark Goldstein, an Internet executive at Softbank Holdings and the former chief executive officer of Impulse! Buy Network, also joined the board.
“Mark and Ellin bring a wealth of experience and influence in their respective industries to the table, and we believe that they will both be tremendous assets to Bluefly as we seek to bring together the worlds of fashion and technology in order to create the first full service outlet store,” said Ken Seiff, ceo of Bluefly, in a statement.
“Bluefly is really making a name for itself in the fashion industry by being at the forefront of the online shopping wave,” said Ellin Saltzman, in a statement. “Their concept offers an exciting outlet for designers’ end-of-season and excess merchandise.”
