PARIS — Jean-Bernard Tellio, the executive who played an instrumental role in guiding LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton chief Bernard Arnault’s early investments in Internet firms, is leaving the company.
Tellio was traveling and his immediate plans could not be learned. His departure comes on the heels of last week’s appointment of a senior management team to guide Europ@web, the investment firm with more than $500 million for online ventures Arnault created in June.
Andre de Baubigny, who joined Arnault’s team after working at Morgan Stanley as an Internet strategist, was named managing director of U.S. technology investments and Charam Bercharat was promoted from senior vice president of selective distribution at LVMH to manager of investments in European online firms.
