PARIS—Chloe International SA said Tuesday that its president, Mounir Moufarrige, was leaving the company.The announcement confirmed a report Monday in WWD.Moufarrige “has decided to resign for personal reasons. Chloe thanks Mr. Mounir Moufarrige for his valuable contribution,” the four-line statement said.Moufarrige could not be reached for comment. He joined Chloe, owned by the Vendome Luxury Group, in 1992.No successor was named, but there is talk here that Ralph Toledano, who recently announced he was stepping down as president of Guy Laroche, might be eyeing the Chloe post.However, sources said Toledano may have another move in mind, and speculation mounted Tuesday that he might join Yves Saint Laurent in some capacity. Toledano could not be reached at press time.
