WATERMAN WISHES: Between shows this week, buyers and editors will have a chance to see the millennium wishes of about 40 designers who sketched and listed their visions for the new century with Waterman pens.
The sketches will be on display in the press lounge of the Bryant Park venue during the spring runway shows, which end Friday. Visitors will be able to add their own ideas and images at the same time.
Adrienne Landau, Dana Buchman, Diane Von Furstenberg, Han Feng, Jill Stuart, Robert Lee Morris, Susan Lazar and Tommy Hilfiger are among the accessories and apparel designers who penned their wishes for 2000.
Waterman, which has been a sponsor of the 7th on Sixth shows for three seasons, has also donated $25,000 to the CFDA’s scholarship program.
COACH CURES: Coach is getting behind the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure via its watch licensee, the Movado Group. In honor of the Sept. 19 event, the firm has added a sorbet pink leather strap to its most popular style — the stainless steel Metropolitan.
The watch will be sold exclusively at Macy’s Herald Square during October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the watch will be donated to the Komen Race for the Cure Foundation. The watch is available in two sizes and retails for $350.
