MARISA CHRISTINA MAY SELL VITTADINI
NEW YORK — Marisa Christina has reportedly struck a deal to sell its Adrienne Vittadini business and trademarks to Kim Perrone and Maura de Visscher, market sources said late Thursday.
None of the parties, including Marisa Christina chairman and chief executive officer Michael Lerner, could be reached immediately for comment. An announcement is expected today.
Speculation about the transaction first surfaced in these columns April 5.
Perrone and de Visscher were ousted from bridge firm Emanuel/Emanuel Ungaro in May 1998.
As reported, the two have been working on an apparel venture out of offices at 234 West 39th Street for several months.
