NEW YORK — A memorial service for Doris Reiter Stillman, 67, who spent many years in apparel industry sales, will be held today at 5:30 p.m. at the Garment Center Congregation, 205 West 40th Street.
Stillman died Aug. 14 at her home in Riverdale, The Bronx, the result of a heart attack, according to Bruce Blaustein, president of Teri Jon, a dress manufacturer here, where Stillman worked for 13 years. At Teri Jon, she handled domestic and international accounts as well as traveling throughout the country attending many of the regional markets.
Stillman began her career as a bridal buyer for Specialty Stores Association, a former buying office. Later she was in sales for such firms as St. Gillian, Albert Capraro and Teri Jon. Most recently she was with suit manufacturer Bergamo.
Stillman is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Kaplan; her mother, Irene; a brother, Steve, and a granddaughter, Juliana.
