MANDI NORWOOD APPOINTED NEW EDITOR OF MADEMOISELLE
NEW YORK — Mandi Norwood has been named the new editor of Mademoiselle. She comes to the Conde Nast title from British Cosmopolitan, where she was editor.
Norwood, 35, is expected to start early next year. She succeeds Elizabeth Crow, who resigned last week, but plans to stay on through the end of the year.
“Mandi’s extensive experience editing publications targeted to young women, and her long-standing enthusiasm for Mademoiselle, make her an ideal editor to lead the magazine to new levels,” James Truman, Conde Nast’s editorial director, said in a statement.
Before being named editor of British Cosmopolitan in 1995, Norwood was the editor of Company magazine for five years.
