GUCCI NAMES TWO EXECS
NEW YORK — Alexandra Gillespie has joined Gucci Group as worldwide marketing and advertising director.
Gillespie fills a post left vacant when Sally Altrocchi left the company to join Prada last year, as reported.
Previously, Gillespie was vice president, global media, at Calvin Klein Inc. At Gucci, she will be responsible for coordinating, budgeting and planning all advertising and marketing for Gucci’s directly owned, franchise and wholesale operations.
Also at Gucci, Doug McCullough has been named director of store operations for all Gucci stores in America, succeeding Bob Ferraro, who resigned. Previously, McCullough managed Giorgio Armani’s flagship Madison Avenue boutique.
