ALL THE SEASONS: DuPont Tactel nylon is sponsoring an exhibit entitled “The Four Seasons” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute. The exhibit will take a historical perspective on dressing for the seasons and will also feature a gallery devoted to a “fifth” season, centering on man-made fibers and transseasonal fabrics that have become important factors in the concept of seasonless dressing. The show opens next Tuesday and will run through Aug. 17.
