THEY ARE WEARING
REALLY CHILLIN’ OUT
REYKJAVIK, Iceland — Like their Viking ancestors, Icelandic teens are adventurous — not necessarily with a sword, but in their zeal for fashion-forward style.
While temperatures here are still in the 40s, Icelanders pull on the tanks at night to go clubbing until dawn, and top off their outfits with coats.
Solid color tanks or tanks with stripes and trims are popular, often with low-slung pants or skirts. Bright prints are also key for looking hot in this cool country.
Then there are the fun flourishes. These girls love a look worn by the Icelandic queen of alternative music, Bjork — the decorative hair clip. They stick a few of these in their coifs and look ready for anything.
