SEARS’ PRIVATE SIDE
NEW YORK — Spring fashions for women, juniors, men and young men from its private label lines were shown here last week by Sears, Roebuck & Co. Sears also unveiled its new ethnic line, Mosaic. It is designed by former PSI suit designer Alvin Bell. It will be in 150 Sears units next month, a spokeswoman said.
The fashion show, held last Thursday at Bryant Park Grill, focused on black and white designs, as well as brights and zip-front looks. In addition to Mosaic, it showcased such store brands as Crossroads casualwear, Apostrophe, Sears’ career line and Laura Scott traditional classics.
