LACROIX TO OPEN A BOUTIQUE IN MILAN
PARIS — Christian Lacroix will open a boutique in late spring in Milan, marking the designer firm’s first freestanding shop outside of Paris.
The boutique, which is slated to open in late May or early June, according to a Lacroix spokeswoman, will be on the Via Pietro Verri, an extension of the chic Via Sant’Andrea in the city center.
The three-story shop will be about 1,700 square feet. Eighty percent of its merchandise will comprise the Lacroix ready-to-wear collection. The rest will be made up of jeans and the company’s bridge line, Bazar.
Lacroix at present has three freestanding boutiques, all of them in Paris.
