PERRY ELLIS TAPS KRANTZLER AS SENIOR VP
NEW YORK — Alan Krantzler has been named senior vice president, marketing at Perry Ellis International. He succeeds Paul Donaher, who joined Sotheby’s as director of strategic planning.
For the last five years, Krantzler had been with Sara Lee, first in its Coach division, and for the last three years as vice president and general manager at the Mark Cross division.
In his new post, Krantzler will direct advertising, communication and brand imaging efforts for the Perry Ellis, Perry Ellis Portfolio and Perry Ellis America brands. He reports to Max Garelick, president and chief executive officer of PEI.
At Mark Cross, Stephanie Sarka has replaced Krantzler. She has been with Mark Cross since 1993, most recently as director of merchandising and product development. She reports to Lew Frankfort, the chairman and ceo of Coach who also oversees Mark Cross.
