Former grunge queen Courtney Love has been on a whirlwind tour of the Continent, wowing Europeans as she goes. At the Berlin Film Festival’s screening of “The People vs. Larry Flynt,” Love looked flawless in a Valentino couture embroidered lace evening gown, complete with train. Asked what she had seen in Berlin, the new fashion maven replied, “A couple of S&M shops and the Jil Sander boutique — which I loved!” Then, for the film’s premiere last week in France, where critics have described her performance as “breathtaking,” Love wore an Empire-waist dress by John Galliano for Givenchy and 100 carats worth of diamonds from Harry Winston.
“Tres Parisienne,” said one onlooker admiringly.
