NEW YORK — Larry Miller, who was president of Jantzen, has joined Nike as vice president and U.S. general manager of apparel, a new post.
He is based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., and reports to Stephen Gomez, senior vice president of apparel.
At Jantzen, a division of VF Corp., Stephen Fritz has succeeded Miller as president. Fritz was promoted from vice president of finance and chief financial officer of VF’s retail unit. VF has not named a successor for the retail unit, a company spokeswoman said.
Fritz is based at Jantzen’s offices in Portland, Ore. He reports to Dan MacFarlan, chairman of playwear, knitwear and intimate apparel coalitions for VF.
In other Nike appointments, Barry Miguel has been promoted to brand director of European apparel, a new post. Most recently, he was director of marketing for U.S. apparel at Nike. He is based at Nike’s office in Amsterdam. He reports to John Notar, general manager of European apparel.
Ian Yolles has joined Nike as director of marketing for U.S. apparel. He is based at the company’s corporate headquarters and reports to Bob Wood, director of U.S. marketing, and Miller. Most recently, Yolles was vice president of marketing for Patagonia.
