TOUCH AND GO
Skeet Ulrich did his part to insure that no seats went vacant at the New York premiere of his new movie “Touch,” in which he plays a religious healer with magic hands. He walked into TriBeCa’s 130-seat Screening Room last week with 13 guests, including his new girlfriend, Leslie Hassler, a 30-year-old former model. They met on a photo shoot a few weeks ago, and it was reportedly love at first sight.
On the way to the post-premiere party, Lou Reed was heard grumbling about the paparazzi targeting him outside.
“He’s lucky they’re still photographing him,” suggested one guest.
Later in the week, nearly 1,100 guests donned their best for the Winter Ball, a fund-raiser for the Museum of the City of New York. The chatty crowd began to trickle into the benefit, held at the museum, around 9 p.m. and grew to a flood as hundreds of party goers — including Tara and Michael Rockefeller, Lawrence and Jennifer Creel and Helena Lehane — arrived from dinners hosted by Allison and Carlos Gomez, Jared Du Pont Goss, chairman Bill Manger with Mayme Greer and Bryan Colwell and many others.
