RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SETS FETE FOR BLOOMINGDALE’S CEO
NEW YORK — Michael Gould, chairman and chief executive officer of Bloomingdale’s, will be honored at a fund-raiser for the Ronald McDonald House, 405 East 73rd Street, Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Gould, along with Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Hegarty, vice chairman of Chase Manhattan Bank, will help dedicate one section of the facility as the Retail and Fashion Floor. Tickets start at $250.
The Ronald McDonald House in New York provides an inexpensive temporary residence for children with cancer as they undergo outpatient care at local hospitals. Parents can also stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
There are 162 Ronald McDonald Houses around the world. They are supported by private donations and McDonald’s franchise owners and operators.
