CREDIT PARLEY SETS SESSION ON FACTORING
NEW YORK — Factoring in the Nineties will be among the topics explored at 19th Annual Credit Smorgasbord sponsored by the New York Institute of Credit to be held Tuesday and Wednesday at the New York Hilton.
The factoring session will be a luncheon on Wednesday. Speakers will be Frank Bongiovanni, executive vice president in charge of Heller Financial’s eastern region factoring group; John Heffer, president of Republic Business Credit Corp., and Jerry Sandak, senior executive vice president of Rosenthal & Rosenthal Inc. Harvey Gross, vice president of NationsBanc Commercial Corp. and chairman of the institute will moderate.
Speaker at the luncheon Tuesday will be Robert R. Giordano, senior vice president and treasurer of Bank Leumi Trust Co. of New York, who will talk about the economic outlook.
As the name implies, the Smorgasbord will cover a series of separate subjects — 15 in all — ranging from financial statement analysis to business fraud to secured transactions and loan documentation.
Rosemary Tartaro, executive director of the institute, is handling arrangements.
