NEW YORK — Jeanette Nostra-Katz has been promoted to president of G-III Apparel Group.
She takes over the post from Morris Goldfarb, who continues as chief executive officer. Aaron Goldfarb, Morris’s father, also continues as chairman.
Nostra-Katz, who started with the outerwear and sportswear manufacturer in 1981, has been its executive vice president since 1993. She joined the firm as co-director of the Siena Division. During her years with the firm, she pioneered its private label business, worked to expand sourcing channels for all of the firm’s product lines and has been instrumental in securing licensing agreements.
A successor as executive vice president has not been named.
