If the story on a Valentino-Giorgio Armani dispute that appeared on page 2, Feb. 14, seemed familiar, it’s because it was.
It originally ran in August 1995.
Due to a computer transmission error, a news story on the Giorgio Armani company intended for the Feb. 14 issue was unintentionally replaced by the old story on the dispute. The 1995 story had mistakenly been placed in a directory of current dispatches.
The correct article on Armani that should have been filed last week appears today on page 35.
WWD regrets the error.

The Feb. 13 front-page photo of an A Line Anne Klein suit was taken by Robert Kirk. The photo was mistakenly credited to another photographer.
