HILFIGER CORP. TAPS NEWMAN FOR KEY POST
NEW YORK — Tommy Hilfiger Corp. has named Joel Newman executive vice president of operations and treasury, a new post.
Newman also continues as chief operating officer of Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A., the corporation’s largest subsidiary. In his new role at the parent company, he will be responsible for corporate operations, treasury and investor relations functions.
In another development, Simon Murray, executive chairman of Deutsche Bank AG for the Asia/Pacific region, has been named to the board of Hilfiger Corp. As an addition to the board, he increases the number of directors to 10.
