ESPRIT TAPS MAY FOR FINANCIAL POST
SAN FRANCISCO — Alison May has been named chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Esprit de Corp., succeeding Peter Hanelt, who resigned.
May had been president and general manager of Patagonia Inc., Ventura, Calif., from 1993 to 1996, having joined the firm in 1991 as chief financial officer. She left Patagonia in April. Earlier, she was vice president, divisional chief financial officer and systems manager for the global trading and distribution division of First Interstate Bank in Los Angeles.
