LOS ANGELES — MAGIC International, the giant men’s apparel trade show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will launch MAGIC Kids, a three-day children’s wear show, during its August market.
The children’s show will be staged at the Las Vegas Hilton Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
It is scheduled to premiere Aug. 25-27, the first three days of the four-day MAGIC.
The move is the second major expansion of MAGIC beyond men’s apparel during the course of the last three years.
In 1995, the women’s apparel show WWDMagic — which was staged simultaneously with MAGIC — was launched in a joint venture with WWD.
The development of Magic Kids follows the acquisition by MAGIC of show producer Children’s Trade Expo.
