NEW YORK — Last week was a loser for fashion stocks in the major European capitals. In Paris, the big losers were LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton and Pinault Printemps. LVMH was down $14 (84 francs) and Pinault, $14.17 or 85 francs.
In London, Harvey Nichols eased 7 cents (4.5 pence), while its parent, Dickson Concepts, was slightly ahead.
Prices of fashion issues were mixed on the Tokyo Exchange, while Hong Kong was mostly ahead.
