NOUVEAU KIDS ON THE BLOCK
PARIS — It was an exciting spring season, full of high-octane fashion. But that doesn’t mean it lacked pretty clothes. The collections of two new designers at established houses, in fact, were full of them. Stella McCartney showed bias-cut or ruffle-edged dresses alongside tailored pieces in her first collection for Chloe, and Alber Elbaz did everything from clam-diggers to uptown suits in his second show for Guy Laroche.
