Coach wanted to give its most valuable players a pat on the back, so the luxe leather goods house took over SoHo’s tony Danziger Gallery for a little downtown do. At the center of it all was fashion photog Peter Lindbergh, whose latest shots — of model-turned-painter Veruschka, arts pioneer Holly Solomon, actors Noah Wyle and Milla Jovovich and architect Felicia Davis — can be seen in the new Coach ad campaign.
While the party gave New York’s fancy crowd — the likes of Blaine Trump, Nina Griscom and Calvin Klein’s Gabriella Forte — the chance to see an exhibition of Lindbergh’s work at the gallery, the main reason for coming out was philanthropic: Coach presented a check for $10,000 to God’s Love We Deliver. Gallery owner James Danziger also presented the charity with an original Lindbergh print, accepted by Trump, of a model adorned with angel wings making her way through the City’s streets.
Meanwhile, Emanuel/Emanuel Ungaro was also hosting a dinner, to benefit Northern Lights Alternative, the favorite charity of its current celebrity model, Kyra Sedgwick. She was joined at Clementine by her husband, Kevin Bacon, musician Duncan Sheik, and a host of fashionable, young scene-makers, including Samantha Kluge and Lulu de Kwiatkowski.
