HARRIET LEVENSON MEMORIAL IS SET
NEW YORK — A memorial service will be held here Oct. 6 for Harriet Levenson, a 40-year veteran of the innerwear industry. The service will be held at 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the High School for Fashion Industries, 225 West 24th Street.
As reported, Levenson, who was president of the former Slumbertogs sleepwear company, died Aug. 20 at her home in Tamarac, Fla.
The high school was selected for the service because Levenson had been a longtime mentor of students who aspired to become innerwear designers, said Sheila Solomon, who is organizing the service. Solomon is national sales manager of Priamo Designs, a designer sleepwear concern.
