FOREIGN INTRIGUE

Fall ’98 is a melting pot of pattern, color and texture. So the exhibitors at the Los Angeles International Textile Show, next Monday to Wednesday, will be offering up design influences from far-flung locales. Key looks: Indian paisley and blockprint patterns in jacquards, prints and burnout effects, Chinese brocades and prints with a touch of Japanese painting and calligraphy.
