JUDY TOTTE NAMED EXEC VP AT NARCISO RODRIGUEZ’S FIRM
NEW YORK — Gearing up for further growth at his fashion house, Narciso Rodriguez has appointed a licensing and merchandising specialist as executive vice president of his recently formed New York-based company.
Judy Totte, who was director of domestic licensing at Calvin Klein Inc., will oversee the operating structure of the Rodriguez company, including a New York design studio and the use and development of the Narciso Rodriguez trademark. Totte will also coordinate and centralize the designer’s various projects, including his role as women’s ready-to-wear designer for Spanish leather goods firm Loewe, owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
“I’m trying to centralize everything and have the heart of the company in New York,” said Rodriguez, president of the firm.
Earlier this month, he unveiled his designer collection being done by Aeffe SpA, the Italian sportswear manufacturer.
He also has a fur license with Goldin-Feldman here.
